

Hoot Holidays
Our objective was to quickly establish a clear positioning for Hoot, so that consumers had a good understanding of who they are and why they’d be better off with Hoot over other travel companies.

We created 'Hoot for Happier Holidays' to more closely link the brand (logo) to the benefits of choosing Hoot (a happier holiday is when everything is included and organised with ongoing support).
It also serves as a call to action and clearly differentiates from other travel brands in a distinctive way:
Hoot when you want flights included.
Hoot if you want to get the best deals.
Hoot when you realise that booking direct takes more time and costs more money.

Proof Points
The challenge to get Hoot Holidays as a trusted packaged holiday provider was to establish proof points to back up the 'Happier Holidays' positioning.
​
With no budget for film or photography shots, we went through their substantial archive of stills to create 25 proof point videos for Facebook. Each video focussing on a different target / benefit.

To establish their new positioning we created a video for their website, and social. Budget challenges meant we raided their stills archive.

Retail Press
Full page press ads are still highly effective and we used these typical resort offerings to target different groups (families, couples).
Research revealed that people wanted us much information as possible before consideration. So we gave them plenty.
